Mysuru: A young man dejected over failure of love, ended life at Tanaghattahalli on the outskirts of Mysuru city.
The deceased is Ajith Kumar, 28. He committed suicide by hanging himself in his room following refusal from his lover for marriage.
It is learnt that Ajith was in love with a girl from another community over the last three years. However, his persistent requests for marriage were rejected by the girl on lame reasons.
He then discovered that the girl’s wedding was slated to be held on May 11 and when all his plans to convince her failed, he took this extreme step.
Kuvempu Nagar police have registered the case and are investigating.
