Gundlupete: An FIR stands registered against Food and Civil Supplies Minister and District in-charge Minister of Chamarajanagar U T Kahder, informed Election Officer Nalin Athul.
The action has been taken following media reports that Khader had lured a voter with money while campaigning for Congress candidate in Gundlupete on March 27 and that the minister’s driver was seen giving away some money to an individual. A complaint was filed against the minister by Gundlupete resident L Suresh.
Nalin Athul further informed illegally stored liquor has been confiscated from various parts of the district.
