Mysuru: District and sessions court in Mysuru finally granted bail on August 25 to K.Marigowda who was in judicial custody since August 3rd.
Former ZP president K.Marigowda is the prime accused in DC Shikha intimidation case.
His earlier attempts to get bail had failed.
It may be recalled that, the DC was abused by Marigowda, a former ZP president when the CM was in city to attend an Ifthar party. Soon after the CM left the government guest house, Marigowda and his supporters verbally abused and threatened then DC Shikha. She, instead of following CM’s cavalcade, went to Nazarbad police station and lodged a complaint
He finally surrendered at Nazarbad police station on August 3rd. The court remanded him to judicial custody the same day.
