Mysuru: Cycle Pure Agarbathies, India’s largest and the only Certified Carbon Neutral Agarbathi manufacturer announced its support to Tiger Conservation by launching the ‘Cycle Pure Agarbathies’ Tri-series here on Friday. The T20 tri-series will involve two KPL franchise sides – Mysuru Warriors and Belagavi Panthers along with Hutt Hawks a Cricket Club from Wellington, New Zealand. The series will be played at SJCE ground in Mysuru from July 10 to 13.

The series will witness the three teams playing to leverage the love for cricket to bring about awareness and encourage sustained efforts to protect Tiger, the endangered national animal of the country. It also renders an opportunity to the KPL teams to prepare for the upcoming season of the Karnataka Premier League. The series has been scheduled on a round-robin format, with the three teams taking on each other twice in the league stage, and the top two teams at the end of the league stage competing in the final scheduled on July 13.

Speaking about the association, Arjun Ranga, Managing Director, Cycle Pure Agarbathies said, “Giving back to society is a way of life at Cycle Pure Agarbathies. Even through our manufacturing initiatives, we have always worked towards making a positive impact on the society and eco-system that we live in. The association with this series is a natural progression of our commitment towards sustainable development. We have a true passion for cricket, and aspire to work for the overall development of the game and its players. We belong to a land of unbelievable talents. Smaller towns in our country are blessed with great sporting talent. However, due to lack of opportunities they often go unrecognised. When the KPL was announced we felt that this was the right opportunity to spot good cricketers from rural Karnataka and provide them a platform to grow and prove themselves. We were motivated to associate with KPL and contribute towards nurturing sporting talent from smaller towns and the hinterlands in and around Mysuru. We want the best talent to get professional exposure”.

The Mysuru Warriors and Belagavi Panthers have been gracious enough to make available slots in their teams for talented players who are keen to join the KPL bandwagon. Both sides will feature players who have represented the franchise in the past. “It will be a good experience for aspiring cricketers. I am looking forward to the tri-series,” said Pravceen Dubey, a player from Belagavi Panthers. The series is important not only because it offers the established players a chance to warm-up for the ensuing edition of the KPL, but also because it provides aspiring cricketers a golden opportunity to audition and showcase their talent.

Suchith J, Mysuru Warriors says, “I am looking forward to the tri-series. Also, it will be a great opportunity for aspiring youngsters to get to understand what it takes to play against international sides.” This unique initiative taken by Cycle Pure Agarbhathies will address the issue and aware people about the need to conserve our National Animal.
