Mysuru: The Madras Crocodile Bank Trust gifted few pythons and crocodiles to Chamrajendra Zoo in the city under animal exchange on September 6.
Mysore Zoo received 4 pythons, 2 each of male and female belonging to Indian Rock species under the animal exchange programme, approved by the Central Zoo Authority, New Delhi.
It also received male and female Gharial crocodiles, belonging to fish eating family. The reptiles obtained on September 6, for conservation and breeding are adjusting to the new environment and their health condition is stable, said Zoo Executive Director C Ravi Shankar.
