Mysuru: The district police sealed Naseema hospital for getting directly involved in a child sale racket.
Disclosing the information, Superintendent of Police, Ravi D Chennanavar said, even Aravind hospital has been served notice in the same case. He further informed, around 11 people have been arrested in the case and 16 children have been rescued so far.
Efforts are on to rescue two more children including one in USA, Chennanavar informed.
Aravind hospital too may face the axe, once the response to the notice is received by the police. The racket had sent shock waves throughout the city and even the Deputy Commissioner had expressed ‘serious concerns’ and termed the incidents as ‘worrisome’.
