Chain snatchers strike again in city

Mysuru: The city experienced yet another case of chain snatching despite the efforts put by the district administration making attempts to curb the same. This time, the snatchers are said t9o have managed to snatch 94 grams gold chain from an old woman who was standing near her home this morning.

It has been reported that the snatchers came to her seeking directions to a particular address and when she was reading the address, they snatched the chain and escaped on a Pulsar bike.

The victim has been identified as 75-year-old Sharada, wife of late Balaji and a resident of 24th Cross, Hebbal.

Vijayanagar Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating it further.
