Mysuru: State BJP President B S Yeddyurappa lost his cool in front of media men seeking clarification on BJP’s stance of disrupting Assembly proceedings over diary issue, during his visit to Suttur Matt at the foothills of Chamundi on March 17.
Asking Congressmen to approach Supreme Court to get more clarity on the issue, Yeddyurappa said there were a lot of differences between Sahara diary and the state Congress MLC’s diary.
BJP, as a responsible opposition was keen on discussion over drought and farmers’ loan waiver, BSY said.
Exhorting confidence in winning the by-elections in both the Assembly constituencies by a margin of over 25000 votes, BSY challenged that the battalion of state ministers would not be able to stop BJP from winning.
By not giving relief to farmers in state budget in terms of loan waiver, the state chief minister had turned anti-farmer, BSY alleged.
Congress cannot win elections based on money power and caste factor and the differences in Nanajangud BJP unit will be sorted out after a personal meeting with Benki Mahadevu’s wife, BSY said.
