Mysuru: JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda claimed that attempts by few people to kill him politically only helped him become stronger.
Speaking to media persons at the JD(S) office after the Valmiki Jayanthi celebrations, the leader stated that the existing political system has been destroyed unlike before.
He recalled the time when he had sat on a stone and cried after the Congress took away the party office. However, now the party has its own office, he said adding that unlike national parties he doesn’t have any high command.
Further he mentioned that the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah weakened the Lokayukta and set up the Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB).” I know what ACB is doing,” he said.
