Mysore: As a prelude to the Mysore Dasara celebrations, ‘Yuva Sambrama’ was inaugurated by District in charge minister and State Revenue Minister H S Srinivas Prasad. He was accompanied by Pushpa Amarnath, ZP President, District Commissioner C Shikha, Abhinav Khare Superintendent of Police, Vasu, Chamaraja constituency MLA, Actress Nidhi Subbaiah at the open air theatre Manasa Gangotri, Mysore.
Addressing the gathering, Srinivas Prasad greeted all the participants said that the Govt. has provided necessary facilities to celebrate Dasara in a grand way, and the’ Yuva Sambrama’ is the first step to a grand Dasara 2014. So people should enjoy all the events organized.
‘Yuva Sambrama’ is a cultural event, in which more than 120 groups from different colleges, districts and states will take part. The winners will get the opportunity to take part in the upcoming event ‘Yuva Dasara’.
On the inaugural day, nearly 20 groups participated on the themes given.
The event President Rakesh Papanna, and Vice President Aveesh Gowda were also present at the function.
