Mysore: Employees of Reid and Taylor Employees Union protested against the Company’s management demanding a hike in salary. They too out a rally from the Gun House till the DC’s office.
” The contract of the 2013 has expired on 31/12/2013 and the new conditions have to be included in the contract term which has started from 01/01/2014 because the salary which is paid now is not sufficient for a living in the the present situation where the basic needs and price of common things has gone high. So in order to give education to their kids and look after their old parents a hike in the salary is must.” Union members said.
