Passing out parade of the KSISF held

Mysuru: “Women are increasingly entering the main stream, and the gender bias in the society is gradually coming down”, said District Incharge Minister Srinivas Prasad.

He was speaking at the passing out parade of the first batch of 163 police constables attached to the Karnataka State Industrial Security Force (KSISF).

Women are contributing in all fields of science to Defence and they have managed to become equal to men. A woman also scarified her life in Parliament attack in the past and recently a woman provided the guard of honour to the US president Obama,  which is honourable.

Terrorism is stretching worldwide and in India as well, not only Mumbai and Delhi are targeted even Bengaluru and Mysuru are in the hit list so in order avoid such attacks, proper security and care should be taken he added.

Abhinav Khare SP Mysuru, District Additional Police Kala Krishnaswamy, Retired ASP Pradeep Kumar and Nanjunda were also present.
