Mysore : Pro-Kannada associations protested against the English only flexes put up at the Glades Gangotri Cricket Ground of the Mysore University campus here.
Pro Kannada activists said that “In the stadium there are no flexes in kannada, everything is in english. Though the match is played in memory of Wodeyar, its an insult to kannada. Even in tickets, kannada is not used”
The KPL T-20 has been organised in memory of Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wodeyar. But only hindi and english language is used in the flexes put up for the tourney. So the protest was carried by Praveen Kumar and other pro-kannada activists near the 6th gate.
