Mysore: The Mysore Lokayukta Police raided the residence of former Mysore KSRTC Rural Divisional Controller M.N. Srinivas, located near Brahmarambha Choultry in Srirampura, recently.

The sleuths also conducted simultaneous raids on Srinivas’s farm house near HD Kote, his daughter’s house in JP Nagar, Bangalore and his office in Chikkodi where he is presently serving as the Divisional Controller.

In an attempt to continue the relentless drive against corrupt officials amassing wealth disproportionate to their known sources of income, sleuths of Mysore Lokayukta also raided the residence off various other officials.

It is reported that about 20 sleuths of Lokayukta Police comprising three Dy SPs, three Inspectors and staff began the raid at about 5.30 am morning, that continued until late through the day.

Documents relating to assets worth about Rs. 2.06 crore were found during the raid. Details of the documents are awaited.
