Mysore: A mentally challenged rape victim had to lie naked for three hours to get her medical examination done at Cheluvamba hospital in Mysore, recently.
The 23-year-old girl who is suspected to be raped was not attended by any of the medical staff for almost three hours after she was made to remove her clothes for medical examination.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who represents Mysore in the assembly, had no idea of the incident when reporters contacted him. Karnataka’s women panel chief Manjula Manasa visited the victim.
