Mysuru: A committee will be constituted to bring all private layouts under the ambit of Mysore City Corporation (MCC).
During a MUDA meeting here on Saturday November 22, DC C.Shikha, who is also the MUDA Chairman made the decision.
Various other issues were discussed which included constitution of a committee to report on civic amenities and infrastructure development in private layouts.
Based on the committee’s report, the marked private layouts will be brought under the MCC’s ambit and action will be taken against the developers of layouts which have poor infrastructure.
The meeting decided to send a proposal to the government seeking sanction of additional Rs.2.27 crore to meet the construction cost of the modern crematorium at Vijayanagar fourth stage, as the cost has exceeded the tendered amount of Rs.4.98 crore.
The meeting also discussed granting approval of blue prints of 39 private layouts and also decided to take a final stand on allotment of lands across the city, only after making spot inspection.
