Mysore: The Chamarajanagar Deputy Commissioner A.M. Kunjappa took additional charge as the Regional Commissioner (RC) of Mysore Division on Thrusday October 30.
Kunjappa has been given the additional charge as the RC, after the State Government decided to relieve ATI Director General V. Rashmi, who held the additional charge.
Addressing the media, Kunjappa said that top priority would be given to clear encroachments of government lands and lakes in all eight districts coming under Mysore Division.
Emphasis will also be given to complete the RTC corrections by conducting Revenue Adalats within March 31, 2015, he asserted.
With regard to the grant of land for agriculture activities by the State Government a report will be submitted to the Government after conducting the survey process for which new surveyors have been appointed, Kunjappa added.
Additional Regional Commissioners Dr. M.R. Ravi and K.M. Gayatri and others officials were present on the occasion.
