Mysuru: “I am sure the Chief minister will not accept Jarkiholi’s resignation”, said V. Srinivas Prasad, Revenue Minister and district in-charge Minister addressing the media on Wednesday.
He further opined that Jarkiholi has done good job as minister and always worked in the favour of the party, I wish he withdraws his resignation and continues as minister. He also said that if Jarkiholi is interested in other portfolios the issues will be resolved in the cabinet meeting.
Prasad alleged that the BJP is trying to destabilize the Government but we will take it as challenge and overcome all the hurdles and give good administration to the state people.
Irrespective of this, Satish L. Jarkiholi, who tendered his resignation as Minister for Excise to the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday, has decided to meet the Chief Minister at Bengaluru on January 29, and take a final decision on continuance in office, even as the latter spoke to him on phone yesterday.
Speaking to media persons immediately after over three hours of confabulations with the party legislators and senior leaders at the residence of Feroz N. Sait, MLA here on Wednesday afternoon, he said that he would not withdraw his resignation but was willing to discuss matters with the Chief Minister.
