Mysore : In India the rate of sexual problems is high when it is compared to other countries. People in our country hesitate to consult doctors regarding these problems said Prof. K S Rangappa Vice-Chancellor of Mysore University.
He was speaking after inaugurating the ‘Sexual Medicine Unit at JSS Hospital and a Guest Lecture’ organised by Department of Psychology of JSS Medical College and Hospital on Wednesday July 30.
Indian people hesitate to talk about sexual topics; they don’t even want to share their sexual problems with doctors and also with family members. Many of the sexual problems can be treated. And we can get the solution for these problems by conducting these kinds of seminars he said.
Later Dr. Narayan Reddy gave a lecture to the students about how to engage themselves when they are dealing with the patients having sexual problems and also shared his experience with the students.
