Govt College holds Talents Day to boost students

Piriyapattana: Students should participate in extra-curricular activities too to improve themselves said K G Rangaswamy principal of Government College.

He was speaking on the occasion of Talents Day organized at Government College here on August 19.

He said each student has different talent, thus they should make use of it by participating in competitions. College along with lectures organizes sports, cultural programmes, NSS camp etc along with curriculum which must be made use of, he asserted.

Lecturer Jayanna on the occasion said that students should make their college proud by using their talents. Our college has been added to NAAC committee and it helps for the success of college.

On the occasion students performed folk songs, devotional songs, Bharathanatyam, debate, mono acting, Rangoli and patriotic song etc.

Convenor of cultural programme Dr Veda, lecturers Dr Nafizulla Shareef, Somanna, H K Mahesh, Suresh, Adarsh, Paramesh, Nayana, Rupa, S K Manju, Ali, Rajesh, Puttamadayya, Chandrashekar, Librarian Vasanth raj and students were present.
