Mysore :“I come from a family which respects women and the allegation that I call women to share my bed to get a chance to act in my movies are baseless and malicious,” clarified Director Om Prakash Rao here yesterday.
Addressing a press conference at a private hotel in city, he said that he had never misbehaved with women during his career in which he had directed 43 movies and added that a section of the media was conducting an organised propaganda to tarnish his image. He also added that Law would not have spared him if he had ever committed an act of insulting or humiliating women.
Answering a query on his stating that those interested in acting in his movies needed to compromise or undergo adjustments, Rao shot back saying that respectable women would have immediately complained against him at a Police Station and added that the voice in the video aired by some channels was not his.
Rao also said that he would take legal action against any one trying to tarnish his image, reputation and integrity.
