Mysuru: Sandhya Suraksha Trust organized a meet of Brahmin senior citizens iof Karnataka, at Govinda Rao Memorial hall. Industrialist R. Guru of Ranga Rao and Sons inaugurated the meet.
The event started with the Maha Ganapathi Pooja and was followed by a performance of Shastyabdhi Shanti for Trimathastha Brahmin couples aged over 60 years, Bheemaratha Shanti for couples aged over 70 years and Ugraratha Shanti for couples aged over 80 years.
The rituals, which took place under the guidance of Veda Brahma Dr. Bhanuprakash Sharma, were witnessed by more than 500 people.
