Mangaluru: Soujanya Hegde from the coastal city of Mangaluru has reached the finals of Haut Monde Mrs. India Worldwide 2017 pageant.
Soujanya Hegde, recipient of many beauty pageant titles before, including Miss Mangalore, Miss Karavali and Miss South Canara aims to make it large by making it into the finale of the national beauty pageant for women, which shall be held on August 5th.
After reaching the final round after passing through several challenging rounds in preliminary stages, Soujanya says there are more fitness workshops and photoshoots to accomplish before grand finale.Soujanya sounded confident of returning from the contest with the prestigious crown.
Soujanya is one among the seven selected from the country and the lone contestant from coastal region. Around 1200 participants evinced interest in the contest from the Bengaluru region.
Soujanya Hegde moved to Nigeria post her wedding to Sudhir Hegde, an engineer and owned businesses abroad with her MBA background. A mother of two, Soujanya has now returned to her native and has set herself on the path of pursuing her old dreams, feels that her family is the biggest support .
Soujanya, a Bhartanatyam dancer and a model has also acted in Kannada movie, “Maya Jinke” and Tulu film, “Bollilu.”
