Samiti demands KSRTC bus service linking MIA to Kasargod

Kasargod: The Kerala government can extent monetary aid for flowing the dead bodies of the Keralite expatriates who die in far way foreign countries.Speaking about the same Kerala Vidhana Sabha Pravasi Kalyana Samiti President K V Adbul Khader in a press conference said that however, the families of such expatriates have not been utilising the facility.

“If the families bring the matter to the notice of the government, with adequate documents, then the monetary aid for bringing back the dead body can be easily claimed,” he said pointing out that as much as Rs one lakh crore is being invested in Kerala by the NRIs.

With regard to sharp hike in air tickets to the Gulf countries, he said that a request has been made to Kerala Chief Ministeer and Prime Minister of India, but it has not yielded any result so far.

He said that the Samiti has decided to press on the government an immediate need to start KSRTC bus service between Mangaluru International Airport and Kasargod.
