Mangaluru: Prohibitory orders under Sec 144 have been imposed in Mangaluru city police commissionerate limits too from June 22 till June 27 midnight.
City police Commissioner T R Suresh issued an order to this effect.
The orders were issued in the wake of the tensions prevailing in Kalladka and nearby regions despite prohibitory orders in the area.
Earlier,Deputy Commissioner Dr K G Jagadeesh had extended the prohibitory orders in the four taluks of Dakshina Kannada district till June 27 after the brutal murder of SDPI leader Ashraf in broad daylight at Benjanapadavu on Wednesday, June 21.
