Mangaluru: ‘Ondu Motteya Kathe’, a film which talks about life of a 28-year-old prematurely bald young man and his struggle to find a soulmate will be released across the state on July 7, said director Raj B Shetty here on Saturday July 1.
Addressing a press meet here on Saturday, Raj said, “The movie is a journey of 28-year-old ‘bald young’ protagonist, an ordinary Kannada professor finding a girl; his struggle, insult and his transformation thereafter.”
The movie is being produced by Lucia fame Pavan Kumar and Tulu film “Rang” director Suhan Prasad. The cinematography and editing are by Praveen Shriyan and Midun Mukundan has provided the background score. Raj B Shetty is the lead character in the film. The female leads are Amritha Naik, Shailashree Mulky, Shreya Anchan, Usha Bhandary and Prakash Tuminadu, Mime Ram Das, Deepak Rai Pathaje form the rest of the cast.”
The songs have already been admired by the listeners. The movie is scheduled to release across India on August 1, he added.
The film also premiered at New York Indian Film Festival on May 6 and a special screening was held in major US cities for a week. The film also then went to London Indian Film Festival.
