Puttur: A mother and her son were found dead in a pond near Kuremajal in Mundur village on Sunday July 10.
Vedavathi and her son Maneesh are the deceased.
On Sunday, at around 3pm the family found them missing from their house and when they searched near the house and the farm, their bodies were traced in the pond.
Police have reached the spot and are further investigating.
