Mangaluru: Siddhanth Shetty, a young and confident Mangalorean walked away with the ‘Mr Mangalore-2017’ title at the In5nity contest held in Mangaluru on March 25.
Siddhanth, a Management graduate from Wellenkar’s College, Mumbai left behind hundreds of participants to bag the title, which is considered to be an entry point to the fashion arena.
All of 23, suave Siddhanth, from Kalyan, Maharashtra swept the jury with his confidence, style and stage presence. He is passionate about fitness and loves martial arts and dance.
Siddhanth has his roots in the coastal belt. While his father Ramesh Shetty, a well-known name in the hospitality circles of Mumbai is from Pangala, his mother Ahalya Ramesh Shetty hails from prestigious Kandandale Parari family of Moodabidri.
Rithesh Shetty from Mumbai and Shanthanu Shetty from Udupi emerged as first and second runners up respectively.
Meanwhile, Shaasthra Shetty was crowned Miss Mangalore, followed by Raveena and Varsha Shetty who won the first and second runner-up titles respectively.
The beauty pageant was judged by producer Ashok Shetty, model Vikas Puthran, fashion choreographer Sameer Khan, Kavya Shetty and Viraja.
Popular beauty consultant Kent Meera, Madhu Shetty, vice-president of BJP Dakshina Kannada unit, director of Malgudi Talkies Ashok Shetty were the chief guests on the occasion.
