Mangaluru: Kadri police on September 18, raided a flesh trade racket operating in a flat in Yeyyadi and arrested four persons involved and rescued a woman.
House owner Usha Naik, Shakira from Attavar, Sunitha from Jeppu and Seetharam from Maroli are the arrested. Another accused Harish managed to flee the den.
The illegal trade was run by Shakira and Sunitha at a house belonging to Usha Naik. Following credible information, Kadri police raided the den and arrested the accused.
A case has been registered at Kadri station.
The operation was carried out by a team led by inspector Maruti Naik, PSI Harish, ASI Janardhan, Prashanth Shetty, Ashith Kiran, P C Kumari Jyothi and Ajith Mathew.
