Mangaluru: Sri Rama Sena chief Pramodh Muthalik, condemning the murder of Sharath Madivala in BC Road said that state government should stop Dakshina Kannada from going the Kerala way as far as attack on Hindus is concerned.
“Even after so many days of coldblooded murder of Sharath, no arrests have been done so far. This is the failure of the government and the state intelligence,” he said addressing reporters in Mangaluru on Monday.
However, on the demand of several Sanga Parivar leaders’ to hand over Sharath murder case to the NIA, Muthalik said that the state police is efficient to crack the case.
With regard to the belief that Sharath’s death was hidden by the authorities on backdrop of CM’s visit to Mangaluru, Muthalik opined that it was a blunder and that Sharath’s family can wage a legal battle.
Praveen Walke, Prasad Ujire and others were present.
