Mangaluru: The Mangaluru City Police raided an illegal gambling spot and arrested 12 people recently.
It is said that the police, on receiving authentic information, raided the gambling spot at Mucchilakodi under the limits of Konaje Police Station and arrested 12 people who were involved in gambling.
The arrested are Ganesh (38), a resident Yashwanthipura Mucchilakodi, Tilakraj (28) of Parande House in Konaje, Prasad (38) of Mulara Konaje, Jayaraj (27) of Parande Konaje, Jayaraj (26) of Mucchilakodi Konaje, Lokesh (32) of Parande Konaje, Keshava (27) of Konaje, Chandrahasa Das (27) of Konila Konaje, Rohith (27) of Yashawanthipura Konaje, Ranjith (29) of Parande Konaje and Sharathraj (25) of Yashwanthipura Konaje.
Police have confiscated Rs 22,485 cash and cards from the accused.
