Mangaluru: Fire broke out in a canteen near Pumpwell Circle early on Saturday morning, August 27.
Valuables estimated to cost over Rs. 2 lakhs have been burnt in the mishap.
As per the locals, the fire was first noticed at around 6 am in the canteen which also runs a vegetable shop. But as per the fire tenders of the fire department, gas leaking from a gas cylinder might have led to the accident.
