Kasargod: A second year engineering student succumbed to injuries after he had a fall from a building on June 28.
Akshay, aged 20, II yr automobile engineering student of a college in Hassan and a resident of Bhandaramane is the deceased.
He had come to his home town from Hassan after his exams on holidays. On Wednesday, June 28, he left home in search of an internet cafe to see his examination results online. When he did not return, worried family members went in search of him. However, soon, they were delegated by some people to a hospital, where they found Akshay fighting for life. Soon, the family shifted him to a hospital in Mangaluru for advanced treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Reports indicate that he had fallen from a building in Cherkala, though the exact reason is not known.
Vidyanagar police have registered a case.
