Mangaluru: In an incident of dacoity, a team of 7 individuals barged into the residence of Anil Hoogar at Chtitrapura Kulai and decamped with gold ornaments and cloths.
In wee hours of April 29, the dacoits reportedly, gained entry into the house by opening a window, threatened and attacked Anil Hoogar and his wife, took away a gold chain weighing 6 gm and a Mangalasutra weighing 22 grams and some cloths.
Hoogar’s wife suffered injuries in the attack and has been admitted in a private hospital.
Surathkal police have registered a case and investigation is on.
