Bantwal: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is set to inaugurate a slew of developmental projects in Bantwal during his visit here on October 22 and lay foundation stone for few more prominent ones.
He is likely to remain in Bantwal till noon after his arrival in the morning, where he is likely to inaugurate the newly constructed KSRTC bus terminus. The projects likely to be inaugurated are valued at Rs 148.29 Crore and those where new foundation stones are going to be laid at Rs 73.21 Crore.
Upgraded Taluk General Hospital, newly constructed administrative offices, newly built park and MESCOM regional offices will see the light of the day on that day.
District In-charge Minister B Ramanath Rai representing Bantwal constituency held a series of meetings with the official top brass of the region in the backdrop of CM’s scheduled visit to ensure the events’ success.
Many prominent ministers, elected representatives and politicians cutting party lines are likely to be present.
