They have also advised the owner to deposit such valuables in a bank locker.

Thieves had broken into the house of Shekhar Kunder near the Marikambha temple in the city on September 16 and decamped with valuables. At around 3 pm yesterday, two bike borne men threw the baggage containing gold back in the compound with a tag containing the valuable advice. They have repented for the burglary but have not returned the cash.

It is not clear as to why the gold was stolen and returned later.

Meanwhile, the Kankanady Town Police have confirmed of clues in their kitty related to bike borne men.

People are now keen to find out whether the police will accept the honesty exhibited by thieves with a piece of advice?
