Mangaluru: Akhil Bharathiya Vidhyarthi Parishad, Mangaluru Unit condemning the recent attack on Udupi Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Mary Francis and brutal assault on police officer Aithappa protested forming a human chain at PVS circle here on Thursday, April 6.
Protesters demanding the arrest of the culprits said that the culprits must be brought to books immediately.
Addressing the protest ABVP Vibhag Organizing secretary Tejaswini said “The ABVP will condemn this untoward incidents in the civilized society. Since the Congress government came to power there are several instances in the state where the sincere officers have been harassed. When the police officer and DC is attacked how the common people can feel safe? The miscreants should be arrested immediately”.
On this occasion Jivan Raj ABVP City secretary, Sheetal Kumar, Hitesh Bekal, Yathish, Basu Vivek and others were present.
