Surathkal: A management student of SDM College, Mangaluru was killed on Wednesday night after he lost control over his speeding bike and hit his head to the road. He died on the spot.
The police gave the name of the deceased as Suraj Shetty (21), a resident of Mary Hill, Yeyyadi. He is said to be passionate about biking.
According to the police, Suraj was riding towards Kuntikan. He lost control over his bike near Mahakali Temple and fell off the bike. The accident took place after 10pm. His head was completely damaged and died on the spot, the police said. He did not wear a helmet, it’s said.
A case has been registered in the Suratkal traffic police station.
