Bantwal: In a bizzare incident that occurred in Panemangalore, a customer who brought ice cream from a shop found a rubber band in it here on Friday. Musthafa, a resident of Panemangalore, was the unfortunate customer.
Musthafa, soon called the Ice cream preparing unit in Melkar and informed them about it. But the staff asked him to show proof and cut the call.
Enraged by the behaviour of the staff, the customer kept the ice cream in the refrigerator at home as a proof and informed media.
When this reporter contacted the Melkar Ullas Ice cream preparing unit and spoke to a employee, the employee said that we have received hundreds of such complaints earlier. But when we bring these issues to the notice of company owner. they are not responsive, rather, they avoid it. “We are helpless, complain to the concerned persons”, the employee told the reporter.
Musthafa said, “I will complain to the health officer and take further action”, he said.
