Bantwal: Rahul Kumar S has been appointed as the new ASP of Bantwal. Its a first, as till now, it only had a DySP post.
Rahul hails from Nanded in Maharashtra and has finished training in Mysore and has been appointed as ASP of Bantwal.
Bantwal City, Bantwal rural, Vittal, Belthangady, Venur and Punjalkatte stations will come under the Bantwal ASP office.
The creation of the ASP post for Bantwal is expected to enhance peace and discipline in Bantwal. The changes has been made keeping in mind the communal tension in Bantwal and Naxal problem in Belthangady-Venoor area.
Bantwal DySP Rashmi Paraddi welcomed newly appointed Rahul Kumar as new ASP.
Bantwal circle inspector Belliyappa, City Station sub-inspector Nandakumar were present on the occasion.
