Bantwal :Protest against vice principal and lecturers by Polytechnic students continued even on Monday September 1. Students have demanded the suspension of the three lecturers soon.
The principal had submitted a report on the students protest to polytechnic education department. As per the complaint the department had visited the college and collected the required information. They have also collected written complaints from the students. Issues related to shortage of toilets, groupism among the lecturers was also brought to the notice of the department. They have assured further action after discussing with the higher officials.
ABVP Mangalore secretary Jayaprakash speaking to the reporters said that we have been protesting against lecturers from many days. He said, “Lecturer, Dr Channagiri Gouda, though he is holding a govt job, he is doing some private works. we have already brought this issue to the investigating team. We will not stop protest until he is suspended.”
The Police force has provided security at the college premises to prevent things going out of hand.
