Mangalore: The representatives of the Bengre Mahajan association and Bengre Jamayath association submitted a memorandum to DC through Mangalore south MLA J R Lobo here on Wednesday August 27, urging the basic facilities in their region.
The plight of the people in the Bengre region has been increasing as they strive for basic necessities such as identity cards, ration cards as well as electricity. There are over 5000 people in the region, thus the members urged the district administration to pay heed to the region.
DC assured them all support and promised of solving their grievances.
Ex corpoartor M Farooq, Shekar suvarna, T K Sudheer, Ramanand Poojary, Asif, Naveen Bengre, Sadik and representatives of the Jamayath were present.
