Muslim girl marries a Hindu; family files kidnap case

Mangaluru: A Muslim girl, who is a student from a reputed college in the city, married a bus conductor of a different community, reportedly with the help of Hindu organizations. 

Accordingly, Insha Khalil (19) resident of Kotekar, who was pursuing graduation at St. Agnes College, Mangaluru feel in love with Bharath Raj (28), a bus conductor.

Incidentally, Bharath was a conductor in the bus no. 42, which plies between Mangaluru-Talapady.

Following to the wedding, parents of the girl have filed a kidnap case at Ullal police station, claiming the boy to be the accused. The complaint was registered in the police station, on November 19.

It is learnt that Insha left for college but later went missing. The parents, who first lodged a missing complaint, later filed a separate kidnap compliant, learning that Bharath had married Insha with the supported of Hindu outfits.

It’s learnt that they married in Mysuru. The police said they are yet to find the couples.  A kidnap case has been filed in Ullal police station, the police confirmed.
