Mangalore: A post graduate student of Mangalore university Konaje was forcefully shown a porn clip by final year MCA students on August 12.
The incident took place here at Mangalore university computer lab where the girl complained of ragging by showing porn clips by two boys.
The girl on the same day had called human resource development department through toll-free number and registered oral complaint.The department soon had contacted the university about the issue. Then she also complained to the chairperson of the department and demanded acton against the offenders. The complaint filed by the girl has been sent to university’s anti-ragging committee and it will look into the matter. Mangalore University Registrar B S Yedapadithaya is waiting for the report by the committe to take further action.
The girl however has left the college alleging low-quality education at the university.
The girl has filed a complaint in Konaje police station.
