Kumble: In an accident near Bhaskarnagar a lorry transporting sand rammed into a rickshaw carrying school children, here on Wednesday August 27.
Five children and the auto driver got were injured in the accident.The injured have been identified as Deepti (9), Sameeksha (7), Mouris (8), Dhanush and auto driver Narayana.
They have been admitted to Kumble government hospital.
The children are students of Holy Family School. They were on their way in the rikshaw heading towards Naikapu from Kumble when a lorry heading towards Badiyadka rammed into them.
After the accident took place, the locals rushed to help the injured.
