It’s learnt that Cyprian Quardros along with his family converted into a Believer, a sect that does not believe in church and priestly culture, which is popularly followed by the Roman Catholics and Protestants. However, Rupert was reluctant to convert. Hence, Rupert was forced out of the house by his own family for not following the beliefs and practices of ‘Believers’.

“I refused to convert into a Believer”, said Rupert who is therefore forced to live in a shed, which is close to his father’s house.

On Wednesday, Rupert met his father on the issue of water supply. Meantime, Pastor Ronald Watson, who was in the house picked a fight for remaining with the Roman Catholic religion. The difference of opinion between the two, ended up in a physical assault on Rupert. Rupert is being treated at a private hospital.

Besides, Prakash Pinto, Rupert’s cousin,  criticized Ronald Watson, a pastor who is engaged in conversion.

A case has been registered in Kavoor police station on the alleged attack. It is learnt the family has fled their home at Derebail following the attack and registration of  the case.
