Moodbidri : A National level Autocross 2013, featuring two and four wheelers was held at Pancharatna Grounds of Mahaveera College on October 27, Sunday under the aegis of Tribhuvan Automotive Club and Bedra Adventures Club. State Minister for Youth Services and Fisheries K Abhayachandra Jain flagged of the bike race while the car race was flagged off by former minister Amarnath Shetty.
Entrepreneurs Sripathi Bhat, Timmaiah Shetty, Krishnaraj Hegde, Meghanath Shetty, Suresh Kotian and others were present.
Ashwin of Mangalore IMSC Club, KP Aravind, National Motocross Rider of Team TVS(four-wheeler category) and Rizwan Moodbidri( two-wheeler), were prominent among the participants.
Organisers Kuladeep, Abhijith M, Mahendra Verma, Shritanjan Jain and others were present.
Little rider : Ten year old Yahya Puttige was the centre of attraction by riding a mini two-wheeler along with the main participants. Yahya is the son of Abul Ala Puttige, winner in the state motor rally and is a student of Little Flower School, Moodbidri.
