Mangaluru: An unidentified married woman was found dead in the Nethravathi River, which flows adjacent to the Dharmasthala temple here on Thursday.
The police said that the identity of the woman is not known, but the incident might have been taken place last night, they assumed.
Police added, “She is married and aged between 30 to 35 years. The devotees noticed the body floating in the river and brought it to our notice. The body has been shifted to Wenlock Hospital for post mortem”, the police said.
A case has been registered in the Dharmasthala police station.
