Mangaluru: The police succeeded in nabbing Shriram Yadapadittaya in relation to derogatory facebook comment on Tuesday March 3. The Pandeshwara police confirmed the arrest to Newkarnataka.com.
Earlier a complaint was filed by Indian Catholic Youth Moment for hurting the sentiments of Christian community on Monday, March 2. The police captured him within 24 hours after the complaint was registered.
The Pandeshwara police said arrested from Bengaluru and completed all the police procedures. He was, however, brought to Mangaluru on March 4. The police said they have produced the accused before the court.
S. Murugan, City Police Commissioner also confirmed to newskarnataka.com that Shriram was arrested from Bengaluru. He said, a team of police were sent to nab him and bring him to the city. “We will take action as per the law”, he said.
