Moodbidri : A crater developed on mid-road at Kalsanka Kere Basadi cross on the Karkala-Moodbidri National Highway 13 on July 28, Monday afternoon, disrupted traffic on the already narrow road.
A police constable was later deputed at the spot to regulate traffic and to ensure that the crater did not cause any mishap. Later measures were taken to close the same temporarily with a concrete slab.
Supriya D Shetty, TMC President who visited the spot, assured that the crater would be closed at the earliest. TMC Chief Officer Sheena Naik, Engineer Dinesh, former president Ratnaker Devadiga, SI Ramesh Kumar and others visited the spot.
